Connecting to the GlobalProtect VPN on a PC

1. Click "GlobalProtect" Icon

2. If the portal is empty, type gpvpn.umbc.edu then click "Connect"

3. Click "Connect"

4. Click "Close"

5. Click "Settings"

6. CHROME: Check the box that says "Always allow gpvpn.umbc.edu to open links of this type in the associated app"

7. CHROME: Once checked, click "Open GlobalProtect"

8. EDGE: Check the box that says "Always allow gpvpn.umbc.edu to open links of this type in the associated app"

9. EDGE: Once checked, click "Open"

10. Once you see this, and the GlobalProtect Icon in the tray is no longer grey, you are connected.
