Annual Doctoral Student Meeting

Workflow:

First, the student fills out the form, then it goes to the Program Advisor, then the Graduate Program Director, then a signing group receives a copy of the form.

Overall Process:

  • When the student comes to the webform, they need to fill out the name and email for the Program Advisor and the Graduate Program Director. Then, they fill out their program, status of course requirements, and status of doctoral dissertation.

  • When the student enters the form they fill out the status of the preliminary/comprehensive/qualifying exams and any honors, awards, publications, presentations they’ve received/done.

  • If needed, they can attach an additional document highlighting any honors, awards, publications, presentations they’ve received/done.

  • Then, the student signs the document and it goes to the Program Advisor to fill out and sign.

  • The Program Advisor fills in the projected completion dates for the course requirements and the dissertation as well as the Ph.D. candidacy approval date. Then, they check off any reasons the student has left the program (if applicable).

  • Then, the Program Advisor signs the form and it goes to the Graduate Program Director.

  • Once the Graduate Program Director signs, the signing group receives a copy and the process is finished.
