Setting Up a Personal Mailbox Header
Permits you to record your own name
Your recorded name will be heard when an internal PhoneMail subscriber addresses a message to you or receives a message from you.
After dialing into your voicemail, press 8 for answering options.
Press 4 to select the recorded name feature.
Press 1 to record your name.
Personal Greetings
One greeting when you are away from the phone (no answer greeting)
Other greeting when you are on the phone (busy signal greeting)
Third greeting is the alternate. When activated, alternate greeting will answer all calls. This is useful, for example, when you are out for a few days.
After dialing into your voicemail, press 8 for answering options.
Press 1 for personal greetings.
Press 1 to change your regular greetings
Press 1 again to change your no answer greeting or press 2 to change your busy signal greeting.
Optional - Changing your Alternate Greeting:
Press 8 for answering options
Press 1 for personal greetings
Press 2 to change your alternate greeting.
To have PhoneMail play your alternate greeting you must Press 8 for answering options; Press 1 for personal greetings; Press 3 to select the greeting to answer your calls; and Press 2 to select your alternate greeting.
