The links that accompany short or detailed records in EDS are numerous and varied, especially if you consider the text links that occur in the detailed records of items. However, this documentation is primarily concerned with what EBSCO calls Custom Links.  These are visible on the brief records of items in EDS result sets.  Categories of these links are as follows:
