How do I host a meeting using Webex?

Webex is a video conferencing and collaboration platform available to all UMBC faculty, staff, and students.

1. Go to https://umbc.webex.com and using the Sign In button in the top right login using your UMBC credentials.

3. Enter your UMBC email address.
   
   
4. You will be brought to the UMBC Webex dashboard. Click "Start a Meeting" to launch your personal room for your meeting.
   1. You can choose to use the browser-based meeting room or
   2. Download the Cisco Webex Meeting app (recommended)
      
      
5. Select your audio (computer or call in) and video options. 
   
   
6. Click on the "i" icon in the upper left of your meeting room window to provide your guests/attendees with the meeting room information, and how to connect.
