How do I upload/edit my website files in the Hosting environment?

From the SFTP compatible editor of your choice, use the following connection information:

The names of the following settings may vary depending on the software you are using.

Protocol/Access	`SFTP`
Server/FTP Host/Remote Host	`linux.gl.umbc.edu`
Port	`22`
Website/Root URL	YOUR WEBSITE ADDRESS ex. `example.umbc.edu`
Remote Host/Root Directory	`/afs/umbc.edu/public/web/domains/YOUR WEBSITE ADDRESS/` ex. `/afs/umbc.edu/public/web/domains/example.umbc.edu/`
Username/Login	Your UMBC Account Username ex. `jdoe1`
Password	Your UMBC Account Password

Once connected, you will notice a few folders.

prod/htdocs is for your main website
dev/htdocs is for any development/testing (visible on the web by adding -dev before .umbc.edu in your website address, ex/ example-dev.umbc.edu)
private/ contains a text file with any database connection information
