Windows
- Click the Start button or Windows icon at the bottom right hand of the screen.
- Go to Control Panel.
- Click System and Security and then System (or just System if not viewing by category)
- The page that loads will display basic information about your computer including the current version of Windows, processor, installed memory (RAM) and the system type.
Mac
- Click the Apple logo in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Click About this Mac.
- In the window that loads, you will see information about your computer including current version of Mac OS X, the processor, and the amount of installed memory.
