Filters allow you to manage incoming messages and organize your inbox. Using filters, you can automatically label, archive, delete, star, or forward your mail, based on any combination of keywords, sender, recipients, and more.
For example, you can use a filter to automatically label or delete emails from specified senders.

Method 2 (from the email settings menu): | ||

1. Click the gear icon at the top right of your inbox to go to the Settings menu. | ||
2. Click See all settings at the top of the resulting pop-up menu. | ||
3. Click Filters and Blocked Addresses at the top of the window. | ||
4. Click Create a new filter. | ||
5. Enter search term in the field for which you wish to filter. You may enter one or more fields.
Click Create filter when done. | ||
6. Select Delete it to automatically delete any matching messages. This will impact any new messages. To also filter messages already in your inbox, select Also apply filter to matching conversations. | ||
