As of August 2011, all CDs will be giving an accesion number at the point of cataloging. This includes non-music CDs.
Note: This replaces the previous system of giving music CDs a generated call number and non-music CDs a LC call number.

The Accession Number List is available at I:\BMS\Accession Lists\UMCD.xlsx.

Retrospective conversion:

As CDs with previous call number systems come through cataloging, we will assign them new call numbers and relabel them.

In the long-term, we BMS/Media students will go back and give all the CDs accession numbers and relabel them.Note: This replaces the previous system of giving music CDs a generated call number and non-music CDs a LC call number

EXCEPTION
