Courses created in Blackboard are available by default to Instructors,
TAs, and Course Builders to allow time to work on course updates before students have access to it.
Students cannot access a course set to
CLOSED, but they will see it listed on their Courses page.

OPTION #1 | ||
Set the course status from the Course list page. Choose Open when you're ready for students to participate. | ||

Use the Make Available tool from your Original course's Home Page.
NOTE: This tool is ONLY available from the Home Page. If you change your course's landing page, you will not see this tool unless you go to the Home Page. | ||

Open your Ultra course.
Select Course Settings in the top right corner.
Once you open the Course Settings page, toggle the setting for Close Course so it changes from green to gray.
After the course is opened, you will see a blue OPEN indicator on this page as well as on the main course page.
ALTERNATE PATH TO COURSE SETTINGS - From the Courses Page
Go to the Courses page.
Enable the Course Card view by clicking on the grid icon.
Find your course.
Click on the overflow menu (...) to select Course Settings.
