Modify the course's properties.

Select and log into the course
Select Customization from the Control Panel (lower left side)
Select Properties
Scroll to property #3 ("Set Availability") and select “Yes”
Scroll to the bottom of the page Click Submit

OPTION #1

Use Qwickly on the My Blackboard tab for a 2-click solution to course availability.

Click Course Availability from the Qwickly Tools module, which is located in the upper left corner of the My Blackboard tab.
Click ON to make a course available or OFF to make a course unavailable

Requesting Change to Course Availability Dates

NOTE: Course duration start dates are set by default to 3 weeks prior to the start of the term. A course will not be open to students until the actual date it is set to open.

Course duration must be manually updated by Instructional Technology. If you would like to make a course available prior to the default start date for the term, please Open an RT ticket to request a course availability override.
