- Open *Thunderbird.
- Go to Tools then Options.
- Under Options select Composition, Then click on the Addressing tab.
- Place a checkmark on Directory Server and click on Edit Directories.
- Click on Add.
- Enter the following within the
General - GeneralĀ tab:
- Name: UMBC LDAP
- Hostname: directory.umbc.edu
- Base DN: dc=umbc,dc=edu
- Port: 389
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
- Make sure that Directory Server is checked and UMBC LDAP is selected in the drop down menu.
- Click OK.
- Thunderbird is now configured for LDAP
