Graduate Admissions

The Graduate School is implementing both Student Administration (SA) and a new Document Imaging (DI) system at the same time. Because the business processes related to both SA and DI are interrelated, the implementation of both systems are referred to as Student Administration and Document Imaging, or SADI, within the Graduate School.

The SADI project being implemented by the Graduate School will allow a review of the application process and graduate student support processes.  The implementation of SADI will allow UMBC to upgrade the technology infrastructure to a more robust platform with the addition of a new Document Imaging solution, ImageNow from Perceptive Software.

Progress 

The SADI team has spent considerable time reviewing current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement through sessions dedicated to the Admissions process for the Graduate School.  The SADI team has been working for the past three months on configuring SA to meet specifically for the Admissions Process.

Personnel

The SADI Project Team is comprised of many members of the of the Graduate School committee.  The representatives leading the Graduate School initiative are:
