You can request a site for your Department or Organization by following these steps:

  1. Visit http://sites.umbc.edu

  2. On the homepage, under the Request a Site section, click the Submit A Ticket button.

  3. Fill out the required fields (denoted by a red asterisk).

  4. Select the "I need a new website in the http:// sites.umbc.edu environment" option, then Submit the request.

  5. Once submitted, we will begin to process your new request and will contact you with any questions we may have.

Notice:

All Sites must have a primary administrator that is a faculty or staff member. Student organizations are recommended to create a myUMBC Community/Group, unless the content will require reaching an external audience, then they may request a new website as long as a faculty member will be responsible for overseeing the site after the students graduate or leave UMBC.
