Individual file uploads in Blackboard courses are limited to 75 MB to reduce impact on course quotas (500 MB). The file upload limit applies to both faculty AND student submissions. Faculty and students who attempt to upload files that are larger than 75 MB will receive a warning, indicating the names of files that were rejected. Video file uploads are not supported directly in Blackboard. Please use Panopto or VoiceThread for video/audio, or cloud storage (Box, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive) for large files (PDFs, PPTX, etc). |

NOTE: When adding multiple files at once, each file is considered individually and accepted or rejected based on their individual sizes.
Options for File Uploads
First, optimize your files to reduce their size.
If your files are still too large to upload, use cloud storage (Google Drive, Box).
See → Box & Google Drive
Multimedia should be uploaded to Panopto.
