  1. Start the SPSS License Authorization Wizard using one of the following methods based on your operating system: 

    • On a For Mac, you can navigate to locate it from Finder as followshere: Applications -> IBM -> SPSS -> Statistics -> SPSS version # -> SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard

    • In For Windows, you can navigate to it from the Start Menu as follows (or either search for IBM SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard in the search bar )or locate it from the Start Menu here: Start (if using Windows 7, go to All Programs) -> IBM SPSS Statistics -> IBM SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard

  2. Click Next on the License Status screen, select Authorized user license, and then click Next again.
  3. Enter the appropriate student or faculty/staff authorization code and then click Next. 
  4. Follow the remaining onscreen instructions to complete the licensing.
