The activation instructions below are for UMBC owned computers that have Microsoft Office Professional Plus installed (Office 365 and Mac versions of Office are not supported by this activation method). To activate Office, you will either need to be connected to the UMBC campus network or connected to the UMBC VPN if you are using an off-campus internet connection. NOTE: Office won't activate over the UMBC Visitor wireless connection.

1. Download the activation file here: active_MS_Office_19
2. Right-click on the activation file and select Run as administrator. A command prompt window will appear and scroll through several commands. When it has finished activating Office, press any key to close command prompt window.
