  • In order to activate MS Office 2010 you will need to be connected to the UMBC campus network, or logged in to the UMBC VPN if you are using an off campus internet connection
  • In order to activate MS Office 2010 you will need to download one of the files below as appropriate for your version of Office 2010:
    • Double-click on the file you downloaded ( off2010activate.zip ) to unzip it, and then right-click on the .bat file( off2010activate

    The activation instructions below are for UMBC owned computers only. To activate Office, you will either need to be connected to the UMBC campus network or connected to the UMBC VPN if you are using an off-campus internet connection. NOTE: Office won't activate over the UMBC Visitor wireless connection.
