  • In order to activate MS Office 2010 you will need to be connected to the UMBC wired network, or logged in to the UMBC VPN if you are using an off campus internet connection
  • In order to activate MS Office 2010 you will need to download one of the files below as appropriate for your version of Office 2010:
  • Double-click on the file you downloaded ( off2010activate.zip ) to unzip it, and then right-click on the .bat file( off2010activate.bat ) appropriate for your version of Office 2010 and select Run As Administrator.
  • A command prompt window should appear and scroll through several commands before closing. Just before the command prompt closes it should appear similar to the one below. Your MS Office 2010 installation has now been activated.
