Tell meYou can request a site for your Department or Organization by following these steps:
- Visit http://sites.umbc.edu
- Click the Create a Ticket button on In the right-hand side of the pageIn the Subject field, type "Requesting a new site in Request a Site section, click the Fill out this Form link. You may need to log in with your UMBC username & password to continue.
- Fill out the required fields (denoted by a red asterisk)
- Select the "I need a new website in the sites.umbc.edu environment" In the Issue Description, include the following information:The Website URL you want to use for your site (Must be a UMBC sub-domain, for example http://option, then provide the desired URL
- URL's must be in the format "
example.umbc.edu
and not http://or not http://example.com) - The name of the Department / Organization the site is for
- The full name and UMBC campus ID of the primary person responsible for this site
The full name and UMBC campus ID of any additional people who need administrative access to edit the site- Once submitted, we will begin to process your site request and will contact you with any questions we may have
