  1. Sort out the stacks by status. i.e. Now in library, already in library, etc.
  2. Access the I Drive. Go to the Orders folder and look for the bookRequest2new Microsoft Access file. Open it. Note: Make sure you are using the right file and not the older versions.
  3. Once loaded. go to queries. Open up the CheckingOrderStatus query in design view. Right click to choose design view.
  4. Scroll over to the ID column on the form. Enter the number that corresponds with the status. i.e. 52 = now in library.
  5. Under the disposition column, enter the date and times noted on the stack. It may be helpful to go a few minutes under or over the time noted, to make sure that all entries are reported back. Make sure that you check for A.M or P.M, else you won't get a the right results.
  6. Close the query and cllick click yes to save it.
  7. Go to reports.
  8. Open up the CheckingOrderStatusImproved report.
  9. Once loaded, check the titles on the report against the orders to make sure that all orders are in the report. Note: Make sure to gouble double check call numbers or vendor notes if noted on the PO or report. If you cannot find the an order in the report, let Tricia, Jen, or Michelle know.
  10. Once done with all orders, you may close the report.
  11. Repeat for all other stacks.
  12. Close out Web Order System when you are done.
  13. Put the stacks on Michelle's desk when done.
