Students can grant parents/others online access to their billing information by creating a Parent PIN on their myUMBC account under the

Payer Authorization directions for students

  1. Students log in to myUMBC

  2. Under Guide select Billing & Personal Finances

.  Once a Parent PIN has been created parents/others can access student ebills, make online payments, and enroll in the Monthly Payment Plan

  2. Click on My Account on the left side of the screen

  3. Send the payer an invitation

  4. Add the email of the payer and select Send notification

Once authorized users are added, they receive email notifications when e-bills are available and reminder emails if e-bills are not viewed in 7 days.

Please keep in mind that parents/others authorized payers will not have access to academic information or to the students’ Account Inquiry section on myUMBC.
